Memorial Day Weekend

Yesterday, we went down to Panama City to visit with some of my Dad's side of the family. This is the "castle" being built across the street from Billy Joe and Jane's house. It's built completely out of concrete block. With so few and such small windows, it's sure to feel like a dungeon in there. I wouldn't want to have to walk up all of those steps everyday.Here's Jane riding Morgan on the 4 wheeler. The bay is just behind those houses across the street.
Morgan loves the 4 wheeler. She spent the majority of the day riding or sitting on one of them.
Lauren and Jackson decided to help Jane get the fixins ready for the hamburgers.

Lauren wasn't brave enough to dive into it, so she slid on her knees.

Later, Jane started pouring laundry detergent on it. Here's some video of Jackson really slipping and sliding.

Dad had to have his nap of course.

Amelia took a nap too.

Here's Jane with their German Sheppard(I can't figure out how to spell her name so I'll omit it.) When we walked in the house, she came up to greet us. Lauren started climbing up Mel. She doesn't like dogs.

The ducks didn't know what to think about all of the extra people around the house.

They finally made their way around back to the pond.

Apparently a frog got squished between the door and the door frame. It was like finding a fossil.

Jackson had the best luck fishing. He would barely get his hook in the water before he had a bite. They were just throwing them back, so he may have been catching the same ones over and over.
Here's some video of Jackson's fishing skills. The pond isn't actually a part of their lot, but the guy who owns it said they could do whatever they want with it. They just added a bunch of catfish to it, but Jackson just caught the brim.


I wasn't going to include this one because Amber walks in front of me, but I had to show the fish hitting Jackson. Bradley didn't have any luck. Billy Joe said his cork was to high on his line, but when he tried to fix it, Bradley said he was done. I think he was pouting because Jackson was catching so many and he wasn't.
