Mel on the News

Mel and Abby will be on WTVY's 5 or 6 o'clock news tonight. One of their neighbors called Ish and told him that FEMA was at their house. So, Ish called Mel and she rushed over there. A reporter from WTVY was with them and asked if she could interview her for the news. The FEMA people said they were just assessing the damage, and they don't know whether or not there will be any assistance available to individuals. They said it could be several more weeks before they know. If they do, FEMA will pay 75% and the homeowners will pay 25% of the repairs. At least they agreed that Mel and Ish had significant damage.
