Abigail Lessie Stephens was born today at 9:43 a.m. She was 9lbs 7oz and 20 3/4 inches long. They were suppose to get started just before 7:00 a.m., but there was one ahead that took longer than expected. While we were waiting, Jackson had fun with Mel's hair cap thing.
And of course, Dad took a nap.
Finally, she was here.
Everybody had to check her out.
She screamed alot when they were doing their stuff in the nursery.
Bradley has decided that another sister's not so bad.
Lauren wants to hold her all day.
We think she looks more like our side of the family than Bradley and Lauren did.

You can't take too many pictures of a new baby.
Her hair is thicker and longer along the back of her head. It kind of looks like she has a ring around the back of her head like bald men sometimes do.
Mel's friend, Mandy, got this cute bow for her door.

i thought mel did not want us calling her abby for short and wouldn't it be spelled abi anyway? fun to see the pics since i can't be there. so cute and big!
She's adorable. You right about no such thing as taking to many pictures. Amen sista. She's beautiful. We are glad that she's here and everyone is doing well. Sending some TLC. Hugs.
Mel said she'll probably call her some of both. Mandy got her something with "Abby" embroidered on it, so I guess that's how Mel's going to spell it. "abi" looks weird.
I agree, she looks more like your side of the family, whereas both Bradley and Lauren are spitting images for Ish. So glad everyone is doing well! Give Mel my best and tell her congrats for me! I'll be in Dothan on the 3rd of August, but I doubt Mel will be feeling interested in being at church ;).
She is so cute! I just loved looking at the pictures.
